Richard began working with computers in the late 1970's. He uses both Macintosh and Windows based platforms. He is particularly interested in graphic and artistic uses of computers. He and Leila Kirkley met in 1966. They were married in 1993 and relocated to Sedona, Arizona where they started Cindercone Arts, Inc. in 1998. Richard is also a practicing psychiatrist and teaches at
U.C.L.A.
